I moved to Canada from the UK, in 2002, to assist Heather (my Mum) in her dream of developing a successful cottage rental company in the cottage country region of Ontario. This was a great opportunity for me to develop extensive skills in cottage property maintenance and to be at the dirty end of the vacation rental industry dealing with cleaning, turnovers and face-to-face customer service.

During this time I discovered a passion for the fire service and joined my local volunteer fire department and over the years moved into a full time position with a Fire Department in the Greater Toronto Area. This in turn gave me a greater appreciation for the safety issues related to your average vacation property rental and the crazy things your potential renters can get up to.

With all this practical experience in many different fields of vacation property rental, my skills with the technical side of photography, videography and webology (yes I just made that up!) and the amazing relationship I have with my Mum, we are a team that can bring you significant value to your membership with rentingforprofit.com.
